IANGEL hosts interns each summer, providing the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with our programming, projects, and communications. Our interns range from high school students to undergraduates to law students, but one thing connects them all – a passion for gender equity and justice.
The IANGEL team is a diverse, hardworking, and passionate group of individuals that supports one another. We look for a wide range of skills in our interns, who will contribute to our work advancing gender justice in the areas of sexual and reproductive health and rights, peace and security, and female empowerment.
I am inspired by the compassion and determination that is a central to the IANGEL community. After volunteering at the 2019 IANGEL Gala, I was drawn both to the warm and sincerity of the women’s rights advocacy work IANGEL does. Everyone who I have met through IANGEL inspires me and pushes me to be a better advocate for women and girls.
