It has now been nearly 20 years since the historic United Nations Conference on the Status of Women in Beijing, and it is time for a critical assessment of the Platform for Action. Join us for an informative discussion with a key player in the international effort to implement CEDAW and the Millennium Development Goals.

Speaker: Dr. Soon-Young Yoon, an advocate for women’s human rights. She currently serves as a United Nations representative of the International Alliance of Women and the Chair of the NGO Committee on the Status of Women, New York. She is also the First Vice-President of the Conference of NGOs.
