On December 14, 2022, UN Member States voted to remove the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) from the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW). We celebrate this pivotal moment in the struggle for human rights for women and girls everywhere!
Since taking control of Afghanistan, the Taliban have been violating international law with a series of bans depriving women and girls of their basic human rights.
